    i think if the base of the spring blended in with the black background, it would be a little more believable and less kindof just like layered... i guess. i love the idea, it reminded me of moon shoes when i first saw it ^.^ gosh i love those things... anyways so i love the text and the purple looks great against the yellowish moon, which surprises me, but it works. good job!

    As the above touched on, the image of the man is just a little too crisp. I'd try lightly using the blur tool around the edges of him, otherwise it looks like you just stamped him on there. I'd also suggest trying to master the Pen tool, as something like that would work wonders.

    You might want to lower the capicity of the kid and use a around a 6 feather on him so that it truely looks like a shadow.
