photoshop hasn't such 3d features.
get a decent 3d soft, such as 3ds max (my fav.) and do some inteeeense real design.
this tutorial is great, don't get me wrong.
but i am sorry, i am sad adobe tries to match up with 3D features on programs that aren't made for it. (meaning photoshop now, not illustrator)
