Helpful Criticism?

Hey guys, I did this for My Viss Comm class and I got a B for it. My background work wasn't to crash hot. I could have put more effort in it so my grade was a B so around 80%. The teacher didn't really give me a number grade.. not sure why. She didn't really help me through out the semester so I was on my own. She had a grudge against me told me I was going to fail.. lol proved her wrong.

Can you guys help me? tell me what I could improve on this? and so on? I want to improve it and put it in my folio if I get asked for an interview at the university. Heres my Design Brief as well so you can see what was happening.

To be honest. I think it was too colourful and bright for the actual event. For those who know what Godskitchen is you might agree with me. Just my opinion but thought I'd do something different.
