I like the ideas used here. The "ipod" inspiration gives it a pretty versatile direction for usage. Just a couple things I thought you might try to improve on in terms of "GUI"
#1. I noticed you probably used the pen tool to make that big arrow. I can tell because you didn't quite hit the anchor point on the first click, and left a small "artifact" at the tip. You can avoid doing this by using (ctrl+) to zoom in and seem the tip of the anchor point more clearly. If you accidentally leave an artifact anyway, use the zoom to clean it up.
#2, The grid pattern is a good idea, but if you used an ipod for inspiration, wouldn't that be a more modern idea? I don't think the grid pattern really coincides with the rest of the GUI in terms of style. But even if you decide to leave it, for the sake of visibility, tone it down just a little bit. Since you used a bit of a gray highlight, they should still be visible.
#3. What is the purpose of the 3 green dots on the bottom right of the display?
#4. What is the purpose of the grey circles surrounding the "control" panel?
#5. For the icons on the actual buttons, why not try to blend them a bit more by making them embossed? Not that you have to, but they seem to float above the panel, even though I noticed you rotated them based on their position on the circle.
#6. The way it looks, I would guess that someone clicks (or presses) a button to get the desired output in the display. But since this is an ipod-inspired design, why not make that circle button solid and have it rotate, maybe using the arrow to designate which button has been selected? Another note, what is the use of the "Go" button? It's kind of confusing, but maybe you've got a sort of blender style of function where the user pushes a button and then pushes another button to initialize that dersired function. Either way, I'm not trying to make you change your ideas, I'm just trying to get an idea of what you're trying to do here.
Nice job overall. But I noticed you have transparency, but exported as a JPG...lol?
If you know any flash or possibly even Air or hell even C++ or VB, you should try to get this baby to work.

Responce to Solaris
1.tbh,i didnt use an Ipod for the inspiration
3.The 3 circles repricent how mutch power u have left
4.the gray circles are there for minor details, the bolts that hold the thing together i suppose
6.okay il try to make this realy simple.u can click the buttons aswell can slide over them like on the ipod.So lets say i want to go...Music player,i click the icon,it opens up all the artists/songs,from there i select a song,i press GO and im listening.
i also noticed, when i posted the Artwork,i posted it under Sig/avtr,i tend to do mistakes when im full of hype and in a hurry.so...thanks for moving it,i guess
