angus' portrait
well thanks to Kratez, i realized i posted this in the wrong section T.T
heres the original post:
well i feel shitty, i havent drawn but one thing in the past like two or three weeks T.T ah well, i drew some doodles, i'll post those too, later tho.
so this is a portrait of my friend Angus, i've been telling him i'd make him one for a while now, and i finally did ^.^ it came out pretty good i think =]
this is also the fastest portrait i've ever completed, coming out in 2 hours and 45 minutes ^.^ i didnt move the entire time and by the end, my ass was practically numb xD

cnc?
sorry for the confusing D:

i would say that your shading is, well, half way done. there needs to be darker and lighter values to the person, and the hair needs texture, also, the lips are flat
the eyes are sketchy, i would work on trying to get rid of the obvious pencil markings period, it would make it alot better, the color and detail of the iris is great, the shape of the left eye (his right eye) needs to be changed, and the red part of the other eye needs to be less red
im not sure the backround is that great, alittle messy, work on that as well, and going with the shading the shirt needs a bit of shading and detail to it
basically keep working on your shading for this and it can turn out good, fix the bg too
(hope ive helped )

yep thank you for the cnc, most of that stuff i knew i should fix, but i just dont really know how. sketchy lines are my nemesis, i end up too lazy to go back and fix my original layer and so i usually leave them (i know.. i'm bad v.v)
the background i just got carried away with ^.^; i was having funn :P lol
and the shading i got pissed of cause i couldnt remember how to do it (?!) and i just left it xDD
overall, this portrait is just a big, bipolar-lazyass mess :P but hey i'm still proud of it ^.^
thanks again for the CNC :P
