    Which prog is better for animations, like this sig i made for my friend.. http://img239.echo.cx/img239/631/Brakaner.gif

    why is it better? is there more thing i could do with a program then with the other? what are adventages? any other sugestions?

    personally id say flash but i dont really know much about it lol same with imageready i dont really know it too well but flash can do more complex things i think!

    i hate image ready... prolly cuz i dont know how to use it... i wanna make animations but it pisses me off.... whenever i duplilcate a frame... the effects go to both of them

    dont forget CS2 u can do animation in Normal Photoshop!!! i love it!!!

    but i love IR so id use that...but flash does vector so somtimes i use that...but photoshop does more detailed brushes and colors so i use that....theres all the ups and downs to it....
    SO i use both! ^_^

    I didn't know you could do a normal .GIF animation in flash... but how could you unless you can open .psd files in it?

    i'm pretty sure flash supports layers from photoshop if you just drag em from window to window.

    I take it your talking about flash. They're both pretty good programs, but they are for different things. On this board, you cannot make flash signatures (mainly because it can cause a lot of stupid problems, and I dont exactly know how to allow it (lol)).

    Flash is great for making animated and interactive websites, but ImageReady is great for making animated images. Different functions, its like trying to compare apples to oranges.
