Hey guys let me know what you think of my Poster design.
Did it last year for my Viss Comm class and haven't really done any major work after these...
so yea let me know what you think I got a B for it by the way.

I'd really sort out the text. Outer-glows/drop shadows rarely work well on text. Gradients are the same (in my opinion). For me, flat text that is well considered and laid out always works better than text-effects for this sort of thing.

I'd also think about losing the effects in the angel at the top and just having it, perhaps, flat black. But apart from that job's a good'n.

I would have left the Angel plain black but because it's the main logo of the event and each year they make something new of it I needed to change it so the plain black wouldn't have worked.

I'll deff take on board the text! If flat text is what provides a better attraction and is well considered then thats cool. This was basically my first poster so there are mistakes here and there
