Ok first off, forget those people who said "it isn't creative". Logo design is not simply about being creative. Yeah you should try to be original, but being original doesn't mean you have to use some crazy font or do something noone else does. Keep in mind all those companies who use logos made with the same font. All successful companies, and even more successful is the branding accompanied by them. http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/2009...ith-helvetica/

My point is, creativity is a beast of many faces. Logos have many different facets, and of the most important, it needs to be personable to the company or group it represents.

In all seriousness, I think you have a winner here. Yeah the type treatment is a bit plain, but what you have is a distinct and tasteful representation of yourself. You're a designer, so with this particular design I could interpret this as "someone who brings design into focus". You could even bring into consideration the usability of the logo itself. Drop all the color and make it monochrome for a business card. Even if the color is gone, the idea and basic principle of the identity is still intact, which means you haven't lost the gravity of the logo. This is a good thing.

If you can't tell, I like the logo. It says something. It holds a message, and it degrades gracefully. The only thing I believe you can do without is the subtitle. Branding your name as a logo comes with alot of bonuses. #1. Most designers brand their name, so you don't have to attach flimsy cliches or catchy phrases to get people to know what you're about. It's a name so the whole designer attache is already going to be taken care of. #2. People will remember your name without the pun. Yeah using your name to create a catchphrase is cool and hip, but what's more important? Someone who remembers your name the next time they run into a project that needs your services, or someone who remembers this cool looking logo that said something funny about an iceberg?

Take the subtitle off and you've got a fairly prominent and effective logo branding. Nice job.

P.S. That looks like neuropol, is it? If it is, I'm glad to see it's getting some decent usage. That used to be the IT font back in 2000.
