I started writing poems.

Umm, I'll let you guys in on the back story of why I started writing these.

I never really thought of myself as the apathetic genius but apparently I was, according to all my teachers who said my vocabulary was great and that I had a way with words, but whatever.

I applied for a job at this place called Standard Parking which is basically a parking garage at the airport.

My official job title is Cashier/Statue I basically sit inside a bullet-proof booth for 8 hours, I take a ticket, put it in the machine, and say "that'll be *number on the screen" they either whine and crab, or hand me money or credit card, I scan it, or give change and they drive off.

It gets INCREDIBLY boring in that booth and after running out of books to read and music to listen to, I remembered this poem I wrote in 10th grade for English class.

"The Human Stain."

The world is burnt dead
upon the ashes these beasts do tread
millions upon millions all in pain,
the answer is simple; The Human Stain

My teacher really liked it and she said I should think about writing more. So a mere three years later, I did write more.

When I saw your face,
I had to do some double-takes.

All my other memories have fled.

such long red vibrant hair,

Pitiful

Life is pretty like a flower,
Up until the winter devours.

Life is fragile like glass,
Up until it's broken by some ass.

Life is innocent like a newborn baby,
Up until he grows up and gets all crazy.

Life can't be a miracle,
This alleged god is too cynical,
They claim all he made is beautiful,
Just look at it in full, look at it in full,
It's just so damned pitiful.

I wish that I could be with you,
Laying down cuddling with nothing to do.

Staring into eachother's eyes,
While our minds zone out into the skies.

Our heads will rise up into the clouds,
While we lay down and listen to our hearts pound.

Let's just cuddle all night with nothing to do.

Away from all this crap that you don't need to hear.
We really should get our minds clear,
So blinded by love it's our biggest fear.

We can spend all night talking about stupid stuff,

We can laugh all night,
Stay up until we see light.

Nothing to do but lay down next to eachother,
Feeling the warmth of one another.

Hey beautiful girl, it's just me,
I was thinking we could go to the sea.

We could see some seagulls flying around,
And maybe some crabs that are waterbound.

Lay down and cuddle in the breeze,
Just promise me that you wont tease.

We can watch the waves skim across the sea of blue,
Oh beautiful girl, my lovely girl, I'm in love with you.

Beautiful Girl is our relationship real,
Is it my love that you can't feel?

Or is there something not right,

I know it seems I don't have much wit

Don't count on me running out of things to say,
Beautiful girl, I only want to make your soul sway.

I wish I could see through your eyes,
Only to find out why

I've let myself create this long enough now,
Reject or accept me, I'll only ask how.

I'm going to be rejected,
and then to all this pain I'll be subjected

Then I suppose all I can do is cry
and then that same old question "Why, oh why?"
Never answered, even after I die.

Beautiful girl, oh beautiful girl I love you so,
I'll put it into words to make your eyes glow.

If given all the world's time I'd take a million years,
to only just examine your ears.

to stare into your eyes,
the number would reach the skies.

and to look at your nose,
Not even I know...

and your face in whole, that beautiful face,
I wouldn't stop until I lay dormant in a case.So yeah, I'm not really asking for CnC, just putting it here for you guys to enjoy.
