i agree just looks alike a render on top of a background

pretty much whats already said, try to blend it in a little (i usually gently remove a little bit of the edges with a soft brush on 15% opacity)
and try to add some gradient maps for the colouring.

another tip i could give is to put a linear gradient over him
(i think its called linear, like black with a white line in the center) on soft light and lower the opacity,
this will make the sides a little darker and the render stand out a little more.

just keep it up, i think it could be quite a nice sig if you tweek it a little

It looks better now but always remember that effect c4ds are used just to add more flow not to be the main focal...
