Default [1st Large Art Evur!] See The Light, See Beyond the dark.

Hey everyone, just wanted to quickly say im not nearly done with this. I wanted to post to kinda show what i've been working on.

But i would like some help.

    Here is the picture:

Now, notice the eyeball. it doesn't really flow with the street light.
it looks like its badly cut out, but honestly its not :X
i cut it out perfectly aligned with the black parts of the street light.
anywho.. i was wondering what i should do for this part.
im going to bed now. will wake up in the morning to finish

    thanks!

Ok, take off the orange/violet gmap for a start.

And also don't use vectors and photos together unless you know how to work with them, a lot of unnecessary things here, i'm not eeling it:/

Sorry i I sound really mean, but I think that if you're honest people will benefiy more.

    Don't give up man

I do like the concept. Just a few things to remember as you finish this up. Make sure that the lighting is consistent throughout. The global light source is the sun here and since that is off in the distance behind the focal points of this piece make sure you keep that in mind when placing shadows. Also, the eye is somewhat reflective so you may want to remember that if you want this to be a little bit more realistic looking. Good work thus far though, especially for a first attempt.
