I really dont like the slanted in text. It just looks weird. and i cant tell if its "caims" or "carns".

You should put them closer together and then unslant them. make sure to kern so the text is edasily readable.

The text isn't part of the logo, it's just my name, the logo by itself is in the top corner.

An easily recognizable symbol for your logo is fine, but when you choose something, pick something that also has relation to what the logo is for. A crown for a personal logo isn't quite right and can easily trigger confusion. I know personal logos are a bit tricky with wanting symbols but that's where clever typography comes in handy. Hope I helped.

Just to let you know a logotype is the technical name for a typographic logo, yours is an iconic or symbolic logo.

As a logo goes, this doesn't really tell me what it is or what it's for. A logo is something you can see and instantly recognise as being part of something; for example the iconic Nike Swoosh. For the majority of their early days before they became such a global super-brand, the Swoosh would always be accompanied by the Nike logotype but now, because people are so used to seeing that Swoosh it has a big impact on its own. Even on their TV spots, the adverts are like mini movies not really about anything to do with the brand and then at the end it's just a blank screen with the swoosh, but as soon as you see that you know what the advert is for.

The best type of logo for a graphic designer is a logotype or wordmark because it shows you can work with text (and that's a seriously large part of being a graphic designer). Even large corporate design houses like Pentagram and Love use a logotype rather than an icon because although their names conjure an image in your head, that image doesn't actually represent what they do so if, for example, Love had a heart as their logo (ignore the obvious cliché), it would be so ambiguous as to what they do it just doesn't tell you about them.

Anyway, your logo is well made to be fair. It would easily work at all sizes and although a crown is a very stereotypical icon that is used in a lot of logos, yours is different enough from the majority out there already.

thanks for the compliments at the end, and I thought about the text but at the end of the day I thought about what I'm aiming for, and that is to have a symbol that will, in the future be easily recognisable as mine, thanks though for the info I appreciate the time.

Since I don't want to be a mocking bird, and just repeat what has bean said, I will only add that pink and orange shouldn't be used together. Those are 1 of the colour combinations that tend to clash, and were they meet looks off.
