why arent you allowed to post a SOTW sig for CNC?

that doesnt make sense...

getting CNC would improve the sig, but honestly the SOTW is meant to show off a person's skills to be judged. understanding cnc's and then being able to apply them accurately is a skill too. to be a good artist, you have to know how to take criticism and use it to your advantage. it's impossible to make a piece of art that everyone in the world loves, and thus art will always draw criticism and critics, no matter what. being able to continue doing your art and being able to learn how to interpret what people say into images is a skill that artists must have to survive in the artistic world. why should we discourage that?

whenever i posted sigs for the sotw, i waited for the week to be over then i would post the sig for cnc

posting it before the voting has begun sounds like a good idea but it would give the members a feel for your sig before the votes even start, also the compeition knows what they had to beat... who knows have ur firends criqtuie them in pms?

idk... i definately dont think people's sigs should get banned from the competition just for asking for cnc (i forget who it was who did that... but yeah... thats what sparked this question)
