I have started producing an on-going series of photographs of people who serve me food and drink in restaurants and cafés. Each image is taken in the way the subject wants it to be, they stand where they want and with who they want. Allowing the person to control the content of the photo shows a little about them on a personal level. Some people don't want their photo taken and they are/will be displayed as an indistinguishable image. The text is the name of their place of work.
These are the original copies, made entirely in the dark room (and then scanned obviously). The text is burned onto the photographic paper by way of photogram at the same time as I'm making the print. I am going to enlarge the 8x10 prints to A1 poster size with a Xerox photocopier once I find where one is locally.
