CnC I tried something new. [This isn't what i usually do. Plus I'm still new to PS.]

not to bad. the effects could be a bit better, but like you said you're new to that style. lighting needs improvments and the background is to plain. text is decent but could also be improved.
maybe try a bigger size to have more to work with. i like my signatures to be bigger then average so i have a lot to work with and a clearer outcome. should look at some tutorials on that kind of style, i looks like smudging of the render and setting the layer style to to color dodge or overlay, with some ocean ripple filters thrown in, maybe some motion blur, and more smudging haha. mainly work on the effects, really make it look natural. take your time, especially with the little things, such as making the cannon a little more visible and the effects coming out of it a little more eye catching and definitely add some sort of background behind him to assist with lighting. also work on depth, blur more areas behind and bring out the focals (where you want peoples eye to catch). contrast seems a little high to. i give it a 6/10. keep up the good work though, you're on the right path especially being new to photoshop

Yea i have others but its displacement and some water ripples i think...I don't really remember. But i want to get better at displacement. ill also put up some of my other ones I've made.
