    Hey guys i have a problem with my photoshop and was wondering if someone can help me.

    ok let say i do a vertical bar and i add drop shadow the shadow is to the left of the bar. now i dupilcate the layer and i flip horizontal the duplicate. when i do that the bar flips but the shadow stays on the same side. how can i get the shadow to alsp flip, ive tried re installing it didnt work. please help me if you can. thnks.

    The problem is that the shaddow is a layer style. You can do this in one of two ways, one way is to change the shaddow, you do this in the layer properties, turn off the global light and change the angle of shaddow by 180.

    The other option is to apply the effects permanantly, this occurs when you copy and paste into a new image but can also be done manualy.

    however I would recommend that you just change the shadow for the layer.
