Ok, here is my new tutorial for a simple border effect!
1. Start with making an image
2. now make a black shape, this shape is gonna be the border.

3. Now give your shape a color that fits with the sig, i choose color *682B09*

Ok, now we're going to add some blending options.
4. Click on the Blending Options icons and click on Dropshadow, use these settings:

5. Click on the Blending Options icons and click on innershadow, use these settings:

6. Click on the Blending Options icons and click on bevel and emboss, use these settings:

7. Now lower the opacity of the border to 60%, this is my final result:

this is a good tutorial but i disslike that kinda borders i like black or wite borders :lol:

Yep very nice tut. Only problem is I find it looks better on darker coloured borders, or it might just be me
