I like Version 1. It's more what Typography should be like. Simple and contains an important message. Sorry to say, but I think you killed it with Version 2.

Typography is not about style, effects or design... it's about meaning, and a quote like "Nobody Wins During War" is a good message. For a Good example, take a look at Shannon's sig [Link].

I, however, don't like the small text, even on the original. It's hard to read and understand. If you want a list of the wars, a good idea would be to Underline the text with the wars in chronological order or something. Just a little extra.

Thanks for that Nutter, I myself actually did like v1 better but i just wanted to try out what they were talking about, and thanks for the suggestion on the mini text ;D
