My entry for the logo battle

I would like to have some comments on this one, since I'm pretty happy with the results. And a comment from 43 could be nice.
I would have posted this in Designs & Interfaces, but I want some real critisizm, so I'll post it here. First topic here too, yay. xP

Very nice dude. Vectors are awesome arent they? Anyways, i like the shape of it, but tthe dark red bg doesnt really go. The circle seems kinda out of place or something. The shading/highlights you did are awesome excpet for the one on the upper-ish right side of the main blob. That doesnt fit. Also rethingk the shading on the circle cut it looks like a solid button kinda. Good job though, thats awesome!

thats really nice man, i love vectors, except i shuck at pen tool, it always messes up when i use it i love it, except if its for a the logo battle, whats up with tha BOE designs?

Not BOE Designs! It's Oboe! :P Maybe I should make it clearer. And it's just something I came up with. ;P
Altough I can't say I agree with the position of the circle, IMO it gives a good balance, and it was suppost to be the first letter in the text, but as you said, you see it as some kind of button. Can edit that. I could probably redo the highlighting though, I was a bit unsure about the one you mentioned, Illegal.

And the pen tool isn't hard to learn, just practice and get to know the tool, so you know how it works. :P

yea, good job rabie. I see now, that its the first letter, but thats kinda hard to see. You should do something different, and yea change the highlighting on it so it looks more like an o

Woah! Really nice. This is what i wanted in the logo battle! I really lik it. Good job mate. I cant really find much wrong with it. Maybe takout the gray bg? And save it as a png?

Thanks, but I didn't see that it was just for GFX Void logos.
And the gray bg has nothing to do with the logo itself, it was just something I put there by some reason. :P

very nice... not 100% certain about the highlights along the bottom and right side of the middle thing.

the main part has the shaddow along the entire bottom edge, but the middle thing only has it down the bottom dimishining as it approaches its bottom right corner. considering that the middle thing has the appearance of being 'higher', then the shaddow should be deaper, unless you want to make the edge the same 'height' as the main part. Either way the shaddow is wrong.

overall tis a nice design mate, only a couple of minor problems.
