add some depth in to the smudging, like some smudging close up and coming around the render a bit.

Remove all of the text. Use standard border. I think the color scheme was really good considering the atmosphere you were trying to acheive. I suggest you use and create more elements because its really empty and work on the lighting. Keep at it!
