Deidara (learning tool)
ok first of all, i know there aren't many effects, (i didn't put any in on purpose) and its sort of plain (again on purpose), im trying to get basics down and one of the main things people sy i need to work on is my lighting. I made this sig basically as a teaching aid. Can someone tell me if im getting the right idea with the lighting? I saw where the shadows in the render were and adjusted light accordingly. Remember we are not all pro and some of us need help with the basics thanks

personally i can already tell the render is better quality just comparing it to my last sig, wtf happend there?
Edit: it has come to my attention that i'm posting too many sigs for cnc, therefore this will be my last one for a while, apparently i need to get better on my own before asking for critique, thank you gfxvoid, you did help me, i feel like i have improved since i've been here

When you use the render as your background image, It isn't a good idea to use the focal as the background.

alright.. personally i dont think starting with vertical sigs is a good idea. try to make it horizontal, and instead of using your render as the background.. use something like a city scape or something thats not the same. blur it a little and burn the sides to add some depth and post what you get
