First ever Photoshop tag

Rate from 1-10, 1-100 if you wanna get professional.

For first tag ever:
8/10
In general:
3/10
For just starting out thats not bad at all. I think you need to be aware of a few general concepts, and then find the corresponding tutorials or just experiment to find the best way to execute them.

I think you posted this in the wrong section, theres a subforum for signatures

Alright for a beginner its a start. However you want to make your main focal a bit more noticeable and he's pretty much covered up by the adjustment layers. So what you should do is that if you see that your sig is starting to get a bit unnoticeable erase parts over the focal since you want it to be a clear as possible. Otherwise kiu and you'll get better in no time.

I suggest looking through dA
They have tons of easy beginner tuts to get the basics down
-
This is pretty nice for a first go.
My first go didnt have the right size's just to image's croppend togheter and put on a blending mode. Yours is better than that.
Agreed with Shiv, look trough dA for lots of tutorials.

On the forum here there are some tutorials too, but dA got some good ones too .

by the way, just so zakhaev understands because i doubt he will, DA means deviantart.
Ok, verdict on the sig; I think it's too dark, an improvement to it would be to erase over the focal, making it stand out, but thats just a start.
Tutorials; erm...not really gonna suggest anything to do with tutorials, i have only properley followed 1 or 2 tuts since i started making sigs (2-3 months), so i always think that its an easier route to follow tuts, but you'll be more proud if you do things yourself (not saying not to follow tuts)
