c4d use?
how do i put c4d's into an artwork? cause i m using ps cs4 and to put an image into the artwork i would open it, and like drag it down and then move it into the artwork. but idk how to put c4d's into them. like i have a c4d pack with effect c4ds in it but i cant seem to figure out how to put them in. any idea? i can explain further and stuff if i can get some help with it.

hmm maybe they are in .zip files or .rar files, which in that case you would have to extract the files from the folder and then you can use them

Extract the c4d files from the .zip or .rar. Go to the containing folder, right click on the one you want to use and select Open With > Photoshop CS4. Then it should open it as a new document in Photoshop with a transparent background. Select All and copy it then paste it on a new layer in your sig. Then Transform > Scale it to fit the way you want.
When you are viewing your c4ds (or renders for that matter) deciding which one to use, always Open With, instead of copying the image, because you won't get a transparent background if you do.

and if u do what monroe said, you can play with different stuff like luminosity, opacity and stuff so it looks nice.

Well when I do the open with thing, it only allows me to open with Photoshop 7.0 which I got for free from a friend. I got cs4 for free from a site so idk now. Not really working

Did you try Open With -> Choose Program? You don't have to pick from the default choices they give you.

yea but see the weird thing is that cs4 like didnt make a folder or anything for it when it downloaded/installed or anything. so like it wasnt that good or anything. but like these renders i m talking about look like fireworks sorta. like a black background with the explosion. is there a way to just have the explosion without the background? cause there is a pack i downloaded that is like that. but idk how to get it by itself or anything

Upload the c4d you want to use to rapidshare or fileshare and give me the link. I'll check it out. Are you sure it's a .PNG file? If not then I would delete it and the others in the pack because they won't have transparent backgrounds.

Wait I just read your original post again. You click and drag the render onto your art? So you can already open it in Photoshop right? If you can get as far as having your render with a transparent background open in Photoshop then its just a matter of selecting the entire layer the c4d is on a copying it, then pasting it on a new layer on your artwork. Is this what youre talking about? Because I'm confused as to your dilemma right now.
