    Default text help

i guess this thread would go in here. but im having trouble finding texts to put in certain signatures. like how do u know wut kind of text u should put into the signature so it doesnt look stupid or anything? im having trouble with that mainly. any ideas? cause i see alot of everyone's sigs and the text looks great with the signature. so i would love to have some advice with this. because if u look at this sig that i made a little bit ago, the text looks very stupid with it. and yes i know i didnt choose a good render either but this is my first ever signature that i have ever made using photoshop. so any ideas on how to improve with the text would be great too.

You want the text to fit in with your render, i'd suggest black and white for that sig. And gradients on sigs are just a HUGE no.

You mean gradients on text?? There are ways that it could be incorporated into sigs. Don't get me wrong, if it's executed wrong it will be terrible.

Imo text should compliment the focal and working with text is like working on sig on its own. There are many possibilities with text. But something simple as the text you have wants to be close to the focal and placed nicely. It shouldn't be something that takes away from the focal, so making it smaller would help. But you might want to get creative with it too. You might also want to get some nice fonts so that well it'd look nicer. I go to dafont.com for my fonts.

Well its usually preference so I can't pick for you. You have to go out there and find some that fit your own taste.
