Today Marks The 9th Anniversery Of the 9/11 terrorist attack
So basically where were you at the moment of the terrorist attacks and what were your reactions to it.
I was in the school, beginning 3rd grade, when we get an announcement that an attack towards the trade center has occurred in the city. I was worried since my mom worked several blocks from there and the MTA was shutdown so my mom had no way to get back to Queens where my school and aunts house, where I was staying at for the moment with my cousins, was. So how what was your experience of that day?
EDIT-Btw she was perfectly fine

WOW thats harsh DR. I have photo clippings that i saved from back than I will scan them today an post them up.
I was at work and watching tv when it was interrupted with the news and showing the first crash, I couldn't believe my eyes, than someone came in and started crying saying that there uncle worked in that building.
Still 2 hours later and they were showing the first and second crash over and over still didn't feel like I had woken up that day.
Radi's one of a kind gift <3

Damnn it must have really tough for your friend to have lost their uncle unless he survived but it's still tragic.

i was in the 5th grade and went home early, i didnt know why school was getting off early, i think school staff wasnt allowed to say what had happened...so i get home and i see my dad crying, and i look at the tv and see that 2 airplanes had hit the world trade centers, and 1 had hit the pentagon...my mom was on an airplane as this all was happening, i was very worried...however she was going to vegas so i wasnt sure if a plane to vegas would go to new york, she landed in dallas because all flights were shut down, and she was fine...scary though haha

hahaha ohh i see :P and it was just a very worrying and anxious feeling, waiting to hear from my mom every minute made the next minute much worse and much slower, until i heard from her and that she was fine, it was veryyyy relieving haha

I was in year 6 or something at the time. I didn't know what happened until school ended, but there were people talking about it.
Tbh, at the time I didn't know or understand the effect of it, but I can imagine the worry of a lot of people in the country.

I was in the 6th grade and I never found out about it till I got home at like 3:30 pm, nobody at my school was talking about it but like everyone knew about it. I was so left out. I wish I heard about it sooner.
