Default An introduction to The Broken_Hawk (ver. 2)

I can't PM anyone on the forum yet until this intro has been verified by the site, so this intro is temporary. be updating soon.

Edit: Yay! my account been verified and I can now do edits and PMs and the like!

Alright so that was a little embarassing, but thats okay! everythings fine now..I think XD We'll see soon enough.

Anyways, I'll introduce myself again, since I removed it from my last topic post. I'm a newbie here, and my name is the broken_hawk, but if you'd like you can call me Chrisby (IRL nickname). I've been creating GFXs and signatures for about a month now and I think I've progressed well. But recently I hit a wall where I was asking myself: What is the definition of a great signature? Unless I can figure this out, I can't grow any further. However, everyone has their own unique definition of a good signature - different minds call for different tastes. So what to do? Learn them all, of course! I planned to continue learning this definition. I then began searching for a means to this goal, and I found this site! It's perfect for me, where the only real topic is GFX, I'm not the only newcomer to this art, and there are veterans here to help me on my journey if they so please! And now, I'm here, as a member! Yay!

So a little bit about myself: I live in BC, Canada, a place I personally call "moderation Nation" since the weather and the people here are all a mixture of everything and anything between. I'm 18, go to college for software programming, and spend my days playing video games, GFXing, or playing with my dog, Dakota. I use PS5 to do my arts, and most of my renders are from video games and various japanese cartoons (manga/anime). I've learned quite a few neat tricks in the last month from tutorials on the net, and I feel that I've reached a level that is at least a little higher than a complete amateur. Here are some of my works:

as you can see I've learned a few different tricks, and even more mistakes XD From the beginning I've been in an epic struggle with typography, and unfortunately it wins every time. But that, as well as others, is why I'm here, and I hope to fix these issues during my stay. I hope that I can be a little less of a burden on everyone here, and that maybe someday I can contribute some of my own knowledge to this place. Please treat me well, and I'll see you around!

Welcome to the Void. I'm just looking at your account info now to sort out your other account.
