Overall I really like the look. The colors are nice its pretty realistic.
One thing is in the bottom corners left and right, the clouds seem miss placed. They kind of look like they are just red clouds in space. I would either erase them or make them play into the explosion. Also the two rings coming out of the explosion towards the top right look a little LQ ( low quality ) I would just erase them, they do not really add anything special and the LQ lowers the over all artwork. Also another thing, on the left side of the sun, I think thats what it is, the splatter brushes you used are a little too strong I would try and blend them in a little more.
Very nice artwork over all, good concept just a few minor mistakes. Keep it up.
