v1 seems nicer, but try an bring back some of the green you left behind on a layer or two.

I don't like his half face in the bg it's almost distracting maybe thats a good place for a nice text tho...

its a little too dark but that is fine if the green sword is fixed ^^

I prefer Version 2. Version 1 is very dark as is V2 but not as much. Try increasing your light source bottom left and White brush set to overlay/soft light to try and bring back some of what we can't see properly. May just be the screen im using atm will check again when I get home but I think the comment stands =)
Keep working at it cos it could be quite good
