Hey all,
I'm Josh - and I'm only really posting this because the notice says I have to to gain full access to the boards. :P

I'm 16, an aspiring graphic hobbyist, and I suck at graphical art. I have a Wacom Bamboo Tablet and Pen, and I love it, but I suck at freehand. I use the GIMP, and I can do nearly anything on an amateur level with it. My recent past has been filled with amusing friends by sh00ping faces onto various items/significant people. I enjoy making logos from scratch, and one was even used by an up and coming video game retailer on his website. My logo fun has lead me to making custom Coca-Cola labels for my sodas and putting various recreated tuna cans in friends' pantries.

As fun as the GIMP and Bamboo have been, I have hit a dry spell. I am... bored. I have no requests, no projects (none gfx related anyway) and no muses or inspirations. I used Google to search for a graphics forum, and this site came up. After some quick browsing I decided this place was (hopefully) exactly what I was looking for.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all, and to learning from your experience!
