that dosn't look like a c4d what looks like to me is another signature that used magic wand on to get the effects from it using it like a c4d .
so im alittle confused on this .

It says he used a "c4d group" so he just merged all his c4d's into one, and it's one step in the tutorial.
That makes it a harder to achieve a similar effect though. :[

I considered it advanced thinking about basic, medium, and advanced levels. Basic knowing little nothing, medium knowing basics, and advanced knowing everything. Since I didn't do into depth about C4D or rendering I decided to put it as advanced just in case.

It's not advanced, I'd say max medium, not more.
