not a big fan of this boarder m8 it ruins your tag imo effects look ok .
not fan of the text either . lighting looks ok from mpov (my point of view)

Yeah the border definitely takes something away. And I think the text would be better without that drop shadow, like the colours though

The border is unnecessary and has a major negative impact on this piece.
Your render looks distorted and seeing as it's a focal, it really throws this piece off.

You need more colors, effects and blending at the moment.
The overall piece is monotone and therefore nothing really pops which is also killing your depth.

The blending is poor and the contrast variation with the render and background is what is contributing to that.

Your effect placement is what is causing a huge distraction and to be honest, they aren't at all appealing.
Try to focus your effects closer to the render to draw in more focus.
