Forest Breeze (First tablet painting)
So this looks really nice...but aaaall I did was colour the girl haha. The lines are free to colour on deviantart by AwsumZ. And you probably all recognize the background from a resource pack someone posted...I don't remember which one haha.

It was good practice for my new tablet though...I'll try a sketch of my own eventually, which will look ugly. xD

Thanks :]
I did my best to make the shading look right...I think I might've over burned it when I was finished though...

That's really nice man. Very attractive.
I have to agree with an above comment, your Burning and Dodging need a bit of practice as some of the hair is flat and 2 dimensional, but the colours are really good and it flows nicely.
Best thing I find is to use a soft brush and after applying the main colour, to just rub the areas you want darken. Follow the flow of the image and use your light source effectively. Also, don't be afraid to add or remove parts of the image. With my other Skate Sig I had to redraw a heap of the Grind rail because it was hidden away.
Keep it up mate. I love coloured in stuff as you can bring a whole lot of life to a bland and simple image.

Painting is such a strong word, recoloring would be the right term. You did a pretty good job and I agree with the above comments

I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the CnC. Very helpful. :]

Great job with the coloring, I agree with the above statements but I think you got the shading down well.
