meh, to me it just looks like a render slapped on a bg with a little bit of smudging done and a c4d...

You have overdone the depth and just made it look odd, try to sharpen the bg a bit more where its closer to him because atm theres no difference. Also the c4d looks odd there, i would either smudge it into his body, or add some more to get the effect that the c4d is his waist.

the beam of light is too shar, you need to blur it some and also it looks like one beam of light on one depth plane, and you need to make it look like it fades into the bg more

but its okay overall

LOL it was in sig showcase so i cnc'ed it :P

as for the panda it needs some sort of border as atm it just sits there and could be problematic when dealing with brighter sigs
