GFXVoid on DeviantArt - Idea

I think we should have a deviant art group if we dont allready have one , id be glad to help get it set up although i wouldn't know where to start

Well, it would be good idea, but this would be the 3rd time. First we used gfxvoid member account, was active for a bit, then died off. Then later we did get a gfxvoid group created, was active for a bit, and then died off again.

Although good idea, they don't seem to survive.

Well we can make it survive i know we have alot more than most graphics forums like a chat box and so on. But if we post our work there and having like events that are between Deviant and void in some way i gota think over some ideas :P

well i dont see the point of this? isnt it working backwards dont gfx start out with groups and move to a forum.... we have a whole forum, why have a group as well? elaborate a bit please

because we might want one maybe, and it might influence more people at Deviant to come here

If the group does get popular it would attract more and varying types of artists to the site, its a good idea imo, but as previously mentioned I do remember the void having a group and it becoming inactive.

Yes, IF a group is popular, it would grow in members, but the problem is becoming a popular group. If you look, there are thousands of groups, and each person is only interested in groups that relate to him/her. If you look at me, I am in a vector group, it seems popular, but a lot of the people who I love their vectors aren't in it. When you make a group based off of a forum, the only people that would really join it are members of the forum already. What incentive is there for new members to join there, and not join this forum first?

this is a good idea
but i dont think we should use DA for cnc
we should still cnc here
because i know a few group sof different forumsthat have done this e.g wonder arts
it may / may not attract any attention
but as pet says it may not survive long enough
