you need to work on your lighting in both of them, i like the effects in both, depth also needs work,try using c4d's to add some depth as well as using the burn tool, colors are nice, kiu

definetly work on the assassin one. BG doesnèt og well with the rended imo.
the second one deadspace is looking great.

Compo needs major work, your effects are messy in the Deadspace sig.
Your colors in the first one just don't appeal to me. They seem washed out and dull, tbh.

Your effects and colors are probably the major things to work on, atm.
