Saints and Soldiers Signature. Please CnC! (Maybe Best One Yet)
I watched an amazing movie, "Saints and Soldiers", the other night, so I decided to make an amazing sig using the movie. I just finished it and I hope everyone likes it just as much as i do.

The render needs some sharpening so it will stand out more.Nice effects, good blending, text needs work.
Overall it's a good tag,keep it up!

Yeah i agree wtih the sharpening thing, but i like what you tried to do, but it just doesnt blend. Just smuding his shoulders lightly would make this better.
Liighting is decent, hate the text tho.

Sharpen, then use a 15% soft light black and white.

You need to work on your color composition. The effects don't flow smoothly on the focal point. The effect just stop over the face and around that area you need to transition from effects to plain space a bit better. And like everyone else said sharpen the focal point and some of the effects around the focal to make it pop. Throw in a few gradient maps and photo filters to blend everything nicely.

Agree with Fork on everything.
My suggestion to bring back the focal would be take out the effects for Right side. Those are the brightest and most detracting in the piece at the moment.
I kinda like the text but I really don't like it there. I'd probably shift it to the left a good inch and off set the top from bottom a little.
An easy way to bring one colour back is to create a new layer and brush, for instance the purple/pink, colour onto the layer in the place required and just set it to overlay and lower opacity as u feel fit. Sounds obvious but 9/10 times it works just as well if not a bit better than hue/saturation filters.
What i'd do next is bring back some of the lightings power either by burning the bottom right or by using Filters>Renders>Lighting Effects to really make the focal pop a bit more.

I think it would look great if you made the effects (space stock i assume) come off the soldier? blur background, sharper features, nice lighting?
Great work, kiu
