Illy Alucard - Bring it Andersson ~Radillac~

This is my first tag created in Adobe Illustrator. The main idea with this tag were to get more comfortable with the program, it's nativation and layout. All the shapes are drawn with the brush tool on my tablet. Only thing that's done in ps are the fractal sparkles. The rest is made by me in Illy. I had a fun time and I'm starting to feel comfortable with illustrator now.

i think you should crop that tag starting on the red rectangle. the illy's are good and refreshing but its the size that bugs me since after that red box, everything went way too empty. just sayin

I did intend to make it that small at first, but it seemed so squeezed, so I ended up releasing him to roam freely

The lines at his hand seems so lq at this size.

One of these days I'd love to get to know illustrator. I love the black shapes in the background, but I'm not really digging the lines on the hand. But the similar red lines to the right of the hand are really nice.

I love it, just lose the red and black rectangles and I don't really like the smudgey sort of strokes behind the solid black ones, although it does create more depth. I prefer the smaller one you posted but I do agree the lines near his hands do look a bit lq. Nevertheless, I love the style and your style development, KIU!

Thanks guys. Yeah give it a try Anthony, it's a pretty nice program. Will do more illy tags in a near future

I might also make this a lp, even bigger, and lose the boxes. That's what I love about illustrator, you can scale the objects without quality loss.
