Battle Tag vs KS

Kind of prefer what you had, by a lot actually. I think with a tad bit of lighting in the background it could be an amazing tag imo.
Maybe also add a bit of lighting to her face and clothes since her arm is so bright.

I think you just need to work on blending your effects with your render/ focal point. Like if you look at her body and look at the effects it's not a smooth transition from effect to body. It's rough and looks to obvious. But overall you did a nice job, keep up the good work.

My pleasure, the first is just too chaotic, too bright imo.
Sometimes emptiness is alright, it can add atmosphere which is something I personally enjoy in tags and I think it does here.
Maybe you could just accentuate the lighting in the background a bit to match the effects in the foreground, I wouldn't say as strong, but it wouldn't look as empty and would give the tag a sense of cohesion.
