The first sig I made since I got back into photoshop





C&C would be muchly appreciated.

Cool effects but the lighting could use work ( with the two lightened areas of the signature ) and also the darkening to create focal point. Also, where's the text?

Helix not all signatures require text, like if you can't have it fit your sig or you just can't fit it in at all.

Yeah but Whenever I put text It's usually the worst part of the sig.

No. If you're that worried about people ripping your tags then you need to reevaluate things, there is no profit to be made creating small art, if rippers
gain recognition then sooner or later they'll be had or they'll disappear because they can't consistently put out a product of the caliber that got
them there.
If text isn't benefiting the tag then don't add it, simple.

You are entitled to your opinion, but there is also no way of knowing if he actually made this since there is no text on it. If you're not good at text then it's time to learn and get better. I suck at text but I make due and I get okay results. You want people to know your name or look at a pretty little picture for 2 seconds and then forget it?

Just because there is text on it doesn't mean he made it either. It's not hard to Google search, copy+paste and slap your name on something with paint.

There's no sure way of knowing anybody made anything they claim to have, you have to trust people, I mean we're using programs that are designed to alter images, surely a good enough artist can remove text. :]

It's not a matter of one knowing how, if it doesn't benefit the tag then you're basically devaluing your art for no real reason.

If you're talented enough people will know your name and recognize your style and abilities. Having text on a tag won't keep peoples attention or warrant them to keep viewing an image longer than they would one without, people will look at the prettiest pictures whether they have text or not.
