I like what you did near the render but the background seems too empty. IMO the lighting looks spotty and there's multiple lightsources. Text needs work. Sorry if I came across as harsh but I'm trying to be helpful.

you wasnt in King Slayers tho was you?

i think you did a good job on all fairness of making a tag last minute because you was a new member and in doing that i feel u did good in just short time you had .so kiu eighty eight .

this was one off the tags i choose for the tagwall. Tho it's a bit (to) bright, the compo and effects are sick!! great job 88!!
From scratch, just smudging the XL way

I respect that, but by multiple light sources do you mean the two? The point is that there is a glow coming off of his sword, and the other light source is the primary one. I agree the C4D effects do look spotty, in my defense it happened once more contrast was added after uploading it. I can't find a site that doesn't effect my quality, even dA did more than the one it's uploaded to now. ):
I'm sorry if I'm coming off as defensive, I just don't agree with some of your criticism but I did consider it before just jumping to argue.
And as for the emptiness, I think that depends on personal opinion.. negative space is VERY important in all works of art. I don't believe in overcrowding a signature or anything, for that matter.
Again, sorry for the tl;dr.
Edit:

I decided to soften the image, and make the lighting a little less spotty.
What do you think?

Dude it's all good. I'm glad you can be mature about it also. I was talkinga bout the big ball of light on the right side and also the light by his head. Imo emptyness leads to signatures looking flat, Imo a simple blurred object, even on a low opacity would give this signature a ton of depth. You have a cool style regardless. Kiu

Yes it is better now 88!!. As I often say: sometimes less is better. And so I agree with you that space is needed. It adds depth on a sig!! The two lightsources on this sig are brilliant, they "make" the tag. Also the beautifull effects and the original way off putting the text makes this one of my favo sigs!!
