Movies & Color
This is my first time hosting a battle. I really wanted to join one, but they're all full at the moment. So here it goes..
The theme is Movies, but there is a rule. You MUST use the compliment of the primary color of your signature. This means, the two main colors that are apparent in your signature must be your main color and it's compliment. I hope this doesn't confuse anyone.. here is a color chart of compliments if anyone isn't sure of what I mean.

The colors across from or diagonal to each other are the compliment.
So if you are using blue, you must use orange.
Blue - Orange
Yellow - Purple
Red - Green
Here are a few examples:

In this signature I used Blue as my primary color and Orange to compliment it. There is also yellow, gold, brown, white. You are not limited to just two colors, but they must be the main colors in your signature.

In this one I used Blue again and Orange as the compliment.
Now that that is out of the way, the maximum size is 450x250 & the due date is Thursday, February 17th. This will be between 5 people, including myself. Thus the first 4 will be accepted.
Overview:
- Max Size: 450x250 (or 260x410)
- Theme: Movies
- Due Date: 02/17/2011
- Limitation: Color Compliments
All entries are filled, good luck to everyone!

Awesome, thanks. I wanted to make it more challenging, plus most people don't consider color compliments when making signatures. It can sometimes make a huge difference. I hope this turns out well and ends up helping some on future works.

Don't colours compliment the colours next to them aswell? And hot-cold contrast? Or do they fall under a different description then "compliment" because I've read that those also work really well together.

By complimentary colors, I mean the color pairs that are “opposite” in hue. There are many colors that can compliment each other, but the term complimentary colors means this. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm sorry, there isn't. I plan to make a lot more unusual theme/limitation battles though. (:
