first of all this is my first tutorials i hope you like this one...

This tutorials is simple and fun... we will be using a Ragnarok sprite which can be downloaded here http://mitglied.lycos.de/swigun/Sprite

first off select the sprite you want... i select four sprite. 3 body sprite 1 head sprite and 1 animation sprite... ok now that you have selected the sprite, click the magic wand tool or press w

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v214/Eocene/1.jpg

then place it outside of the image and click it.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v214/Eocene/2.jpg

did you see the dotted line

now right click on it and click on select inverse

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v214/Eocene/3.jpg

do the same to the other sprite

second, we will move the image from the background. select the move tool or press v

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v214/Eocene/4.jpg

then select the image or the sprite drag them into the background.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v214/Eocene/5.jpg

do the same to other sprite.

when we finished draging them into the background press shift + ctrl + m

    *Adobe ImageReady open

the next thing we will do is to make the other layer invinsible click the image of an eye... now it is hide do the same to layer 4. dont set to invincible the layer 5 (head sprite) and the emoticon sprite layer 6

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v214/Eocene/6.jpg

now lets arrange the body sprite, head sprite and emoticon sprite. there good.

next is click on the paper like icon next to the trash can. it will duplicate the current frame

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v214/Eocene/7.jpg

next is to click the blank eye of layer 3 to make it visible and click the eye of layer 2 to make it invincible. arrange the image if necessary for it to move. move the emoticon down in layer 2

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v214/Eocene/8.jpg

do the same in layer 4

next is we place a 1 sec delay on the frame

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v214/Eocene/9.jpg

do the same to other frame

    the end result is

thats it for noob in animating a sprite. and please forgive my english not really that good

    Thanks for the tut!

Makes me feel bad that a 'noob' would post a tut, and I have yet to even think of doing one (most have been created already, lol).
