I know it isn't perfect but I think that I am improving even though it's only been like a day since I committed to learning this. Comments are welcome. thanks!

I have distanced family that live in a place similar to that, it's pretty awesome.

    Either ways I like it.

Pretty nice mate. I am trying to figure out your light source. You seem to kind of have shadows and highlights going in almost every direction. You also kind of have mist or clouds along the roof of the house. I do not know if you meant to do that, but I would erase them. They do not really fit in. One other thing, the color of the sky would kind of imply a darker day, but you have a really light area. Try and just change the color of the sky some to a lighter color. One thing, I don't know if its just the way I am or not, but I would clear up the top of the waterfall a little. It's a little messy to me. It kind of goes from thin clouds to extreme clouds. Overall, its a pretty nice piece mate.

Just kind of a hint to help with lighting, I have found it easier to actually have a sun/light source instead of none. When you can see the light source it helps you be able to in vision it a lot better. When you have no light source present you have to really kind of wing it.

    i agree with fur.

+ the far right bit of the building, the pointy thing, doesn't look right, maybe it's because it doesn't have the shadows on it from the trees surrounding it?

    nice work anyways
