tried making a tag with out the use of c4ds /fractals.
For TRAINNING

it feels kinda plain imo maybe try some more smudging or something. to me right now all it looks like it a larger version of the stock in the bg and a smaller version up front as a focal point with some lighting effects

Not bad, remove the text and work with your lighting, it seems all over the place.

Awesome, just a bit of lighting in front of him throws off the feel of the sig, Everything else is great, composition looks good and depth is good with the blurred background. Sharpen up some of the areas you want people to see and blur others, enhance the colors and this sig will be a 10/10... 8/10 for now. good one
