Exuro (Space Art)

Resized, click the picture for full size. (Links to deviantart)
Information;
This is my entry for The Luminarium's last exhibit, Energy. It's originally an old painting which I never felt I wanted to finish as
I never liked the outcome. Luckily, a friend of mine saw potential in it and while forcing me to finalize it, here it is!
I hope it's okay to link the fullscreen to devart. I don't have access to photoshop right now, nor will in the coming
hours, so I can't create a thumbnail and host it on my own server.
Enjoy!

/GASP I have never seen a style like this before! It's so detailed around the edges. it gives it great depth!
The colours are fantastic ! I like how random the stars feel ^^
Good stuff Sha, I can't wait to see more stuff you hated but turned into something jawsome
Radi's one of a kind gift <3

you mind if i can use it as a stock, or something in the future?

This is so inspirational. I always want to make some space art but it seems impossible without drawing skills. Love the colors and details.

Thank you The stars are handpainted, so I guess I managed to place them out randomly with success!
I have a few old projects I may finish. In any case, I'll post all new paintings here as well.

What got me into painting like this was ladyrapids nebula painting tutorial and coldflame1987 nebula tutorial, you might want to check them out. I had no painting skills at the beginning either, nobody does, but as you keep on painting you learn more and more and eventually you'll develop your own style.
It's most likely a tip you can find anywhere and I questioned if there wasn't a quicker way as well, but it is in fact working. You just have to stick with it and continue painting.
Thank you!
