Just to say hello
My name is Tony Gieske. I'm a former newspaper copy editor, jazz columnist and photographer whose last job in that business was on the Los Angeles Herald Examiner. Now I live in North Hollywood and pass the time photographing and reviewing the new outbreak of big jazz bands at Vitello's and other local clubs like Herb Alpert's Vibrato atop the San Fernando mountains in Bel Air. I've become a Photoshop addict but many, many questions have arisen as to its use which I hope to answer on this site.
