it migh tbe bad, but i just started using photshop for sigs
things I need to work on:
1) border on the right side (needs to stand out more)
2) mabe redo border to make it have a transparent section in it
ex. of border (black is the transparent section, brown is border)

i actually like your border as is...with it fade'n out like that...
might think about crop'n off the right side, so the dead guys arm is right at the edge, and if the dead guy is on a diff layer than the BG put his arm over the boarder....kinda like he's falling thru the screen if you catch my meaning :/
Anyway, the only other thing id suggest is doin something different with the text for your name...its hard to read. You might try filling the text with the same effect as your boarder(so you cant really see it at all) and then adding a drop shadow to it, and set the drop shadow distance to like 1 or 2 instead of the default 5.
Anyway, just my suggestions, good siggy overall.....6/10 imo

I like it, but the fade seems to sudden. Try giving it a slight soft gradient to make it appear like it startes crumbling from the beginning. Good job so far on the border though. Nice one !

Pretty nice. I'm not a fan of the effect on the border and it's size. I don't like the text much at all either. What's with the thing you posted (link)?

well the link is my new border i wanted to do.
The border gradient was made from the ground. I took a ligher ground color, then i used a darker ground color, then textured it or something like that. Im gonna work on the sig and use your posts to help me inprove it.

Might i suggest to add some holes on the border, it always makes it look better if you ask me.
