i see a lot of smudge tags lately with monotonous smudging style like this. (don't feel offended my friend). I find it a bit boring to look at. I like more movement in smudging and more detail.

Hell Girl was a really dark anime so if you watched the anime then you wouldn't really find the colors suitable xD. Seems a bit monotone and emptyish.
