For those of you who are into FPS multiplayer PC based games, then I'm sure you already know about the BF2 demo. But for those of you who are not familar, well the demo is now out.
It's pretty huge at approx. 550Mb in size, but i have to admit that having downloaded it and having had a gander i reckon it's worth it.
The game is out on the 24ish this month, so looking forward to it.
Anyone else got comments after trying the demo?

I have it downloaded, can't wait to play it with my buddies. Still have to config some stuff though..Some people I talked to yesterday were saying they had problems not being able to play the demo because it had to do with their plug and play monitor.
But anways..I was looking at the requirements for it..it's gonna kill my computer, but it's gonna be so worth it.

I played it. At my buddies house and it was awesome!!!

Sweet. Downloading as we speak.

Yeah I have heard various reports of success. I know a friend who it just dies for when they try and start it. I have had various problems with it exiting for no apparent reason.
You only get one map, and its best played online. Try not to sort by ping on the connection tab because it reports a lot of servers as having 0 ping for some reason. Best just to find the name of servers near you and put that in the filter.
Game play is wicked. Don't know if its going to compete with CSS for infantry fighting, but the integration of all the new features is a lot better than BFV or BF42.
Well worth the download!

best to get from your isp so it dosn't affect any download limits. Doesn't your isp have an ftp server? I think every major ISP in australia had the demo available the same day it was out.

Maybe I should download it?

yup, without a doubt.
btw, if you have problems when you try and start it, then have a gander at this link. apparently its to do with software that trys to override your refresh rate for games and so forth, and plug'n'play monitors:
