problem with pen tool

im trying my first vector but i have a problem with the pen tool, when i press 'fill path' its filling the outside of the area i selected.

Invrert the selection before filling?

use the select tool thingy and right click select inverse...
or if that wouldnt work try asking rad

LoL, it's as simple as right clicking the path and choosing 'Make Selection' and make sure Feather is at 0 and Anti-Aliasing is checked then fill it with paint bucket.

You are trying to vector a person or something ? if yes i recomend u adobe illustrator

I just noticed you have a mask added to your layer. Delete the mask and try again.
